Amazon has been creating some wonderfully heartwarming ads for Prime in the U.K. recently, themed around people being able to order that thing that will make all the difference to their lives immediately: Little Horse, by Joint London, is a great example.

Its latest ad, designed to promote Amazon's PrimeNow service (offering two-hour deliveries), continues this idea with the super-cute story of a little boy welcoming the new little girl next door to the neighborhood. The children cast shy glances at each other over their lawns until Mom intervenes with an Amazon Prime order.

The film is running in the six U.S. cities where Amazon is curently offering PrimeNow but will roll out to other markets as the service is extended. It was directed by Bare Films' Joanna Bailey and created by Amazon's in-house advertising team.

Bailey said in a statement: 'It was the opportunity to explore lovely little expressions of hope and wariness and inhibition that really intrigued me with this spot -- those gorgeous little looks and nervous glances shared between two rather guarded children. The big challenge any time you work with kids is getting a performance that feels genuine and not horribly over acted but also trying to hit something that is tender without feeling overly sentimental. We were all very conscious of that and I hope we've managed it."
