Burger King is using the sun to flame-grill Whoppers in Kuwait
Customers can try one when the temperature goes above 122 degrees

Anyone who ever tried to fry an egg on the pavement on a hot day knows it's easier said than done. But Burger King has made that idea a reality--sort of--by using the sun to flame-grill Whoppers in Kuwait, where the temperature regularly soars.
Agency Memac Ogilvy created a solar-powered grilling device that's being used to cook the burgers whenever the temperature rises above 122 Fahrenheit. Customers at one of Burger King's flagship locations in Kuwait can sample the burgers--they just have to go there on a hot day.
