This 60-second Chrysler spot, from its "Drive Proud" campaign, celebrates hard-working artists and entrepreneurs. Agency Wieden & Kennedy Portland and director Sam Bayer highlight those who persisted in their pursuit of success here with the help of "Game of Thrones" actor Peter Dinklage, who lends his voice to the ad. Accomplished faces include Becky Hammon, the second female assistant coach in NBA history; Reddit Co-Founder Alexis Ohanian; entrepreneur and gambling man Phil Ivey; photographer Kwaku Alston and California restaurateur Caroline Styne. All of whom presumably worked tirelessly to excel in their fields.
In February, we saw rival American luxury brand Cadillac make a similar statement during the Oscars, with an ad celebrating the likes of "Boyhood" Director Richard Linklater, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, fashion designer Jason Wu, personal-genomics trailblazer Anne Wojcicki and African internet pioneer Njeri Rionge -- all of whom "Dared Greatly."
The Chrysler campaign is set to run from April through June. A 30-second spot will be supported by digital and print extensions.
