Def Leppard: When Love & Hate Collide Album Cover

Classic track gets a makeover.

The Martin Agency has designed new digital album art for Def Leppard's track When Love & Hate Collide. The song, which was originally found on the band's 1995 greatest hits collection, "Vault," was made available for the first time digitally on iTunes this Valentine's Day.

According to Martin Agency CCO Joe Alexander, the band's producer had known agency executive producer John McAdorey from way back and got back in touch when the band was looking to re-launch. McAdorey then tapped in-house Def fans and creative directors Matt Davis and Trent Patterson, to get things going. The album art project was then opened to the whole agency team, including those in New York, who ended up conceiving the winning design.
