BBH's New Television Spot for Paint Brand is Gorgeous

Men and women trudge along in a dreary, colorless world in BBH London's newest spot for paint manufacturer Dulux. The 60-second film, directed by Christian and Patrick, was shot in South Africa. It takes cues from Prohibition-era America, which in fact wasn't black-and-white, but probably felt that way because of the no alcohol thing. The spot centers on a red-haired woman who ignores the advances of her male neighbor as she walks along in a grey city. But a dramatic police chase results in her getting introduced to cans and cans of bright, vivid color, one of which she smuggles into her coat, using it to paint her apartment a vivid teal.

That color changes her entirely, opening her up to the beautiful world of possibilities around her ��" which includes noticing how cute that guy across the street really is.

The campaign is part of a larger marketing strategy for Dulux. It will include a social campaign via Analogfolk that will remove color from Dulux's Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages.
