Steph Curry Meets Chicken Curry: ESPN Has a Culinary Moment
Warriors Star and his Family Also Feature in Foodie Follow Up

Seems ads that make food jokes out of people's names are in vogue (see various spots featuring Kevin Bacon and family). ESPN debuted this one, featuring Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry alongside SportsCenter anchors Stan Verrett and Neil Everett, on Friday ahead of the Warriors' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry assumes the chicken curry on offer at lunch is a nod of respect -- except the chefs have no idea who he is. Wieden & Kennedy New York created the ad and the ESPN in-house team was behind a social/digital follow up film, Kitchen Warriors, which sees Curry battle it out against his wife Ayesha in the kitchen. (Look out for their cute daughter Riley as the judge).
