Jake Scott Directs a Jaunty Spot for NFU Mutual

British insurance company NFU Mutual enlisted RSA director Jake Scott (known for polished, glossy work like Johnnie Walker's Gentleman's Wager with Jude Law) to helm this spot that capitalizes on the fact that it pays out for 98% of claims.

This statistic is illustrated by a dapper insurance agent who dances on tree trunks, tap dances on walls, and slides down rooftops while coming to the aid of people who have had disasters happen to their houses. It's all jauntily done, in the style of musical theater -- almost enough to make you think a visit from an insurance agent will be entertaining rather than stressful.

Grey London is the creative agency. Sam Haynes and John Gibson, senior creatives, explained in a statement: "The world of insurance advertising can be very doom and gloom. We wanted something a bit more positive, a bit more upbeat" because NFU Mutual love helping people, and that should be celebrated."
