Swedish hifi retailer Pause Home Entertainment was inspired by ice-cream trucks when it came to finding a new way to promote its headphones, in a campaign by Akestam Holst. It drove a hybrid moped /pick-up around the streets of Stockholm with its own "jingle," a headphone menu on the side of the truck and a credit card payment method, encouraging people lying out in the sun listening to music to try, and buy, its product. People could also visit the truck's website for a map of the truck's route and GPS tracker of its current location.
