Peugeot's new global ad for its 308 GTI is a blockbuster-style action movie, jam-packed with stunt driving, reminiscent of memorable scenes from cinematic thrillers such as "Ronin." But it's the cheeky monkey who is its star that may grab your attention more than the Hollywood-style car chase.

Crystal the capuchin monkey, who has previously appeared in "Night at the Museum" and "The Hangover," is central to the spot, directed by Noam Murro via Wanda for BETC Paris.

She's the passenger in an exciting car chase as her driver repeatedly escapes a bunch of thugs in his Peugeot 308 GTI. As she reaches her destination, the viewer is kept guessing about her mission -- and the ensuing scene is bound to raise a smile.

The spot will run globally on TV, in cinemas and online. It's being supported by press, outdoor, and social media elements including a Twitter campaign using the hashtag #PushtheLimits.
