Music streaming service Spotify and Droga5 have released three new web shorts that feel and look a lot like Google's "Parisian Love." The shorts are entirely composed of screenshots from digital devices and were directed by filmmaker trio "Shy Kids," the team behind the indie short film "Noah," which earned accolades a the Toronto International Film Festival and which was created largely using social media interactions. In "Playlist," a girl logs into her Spotify to find the 2014 version of a mixtape -- a Spotify Playlist -- waiting for her. Then, she starts listening to it, perusing Instagram and her text messages.

A member of filmmaker trio Shy Kids, Patrick Cederberg, told Ad Age that in fact, Google's "Parisian Love" was one of the trio's "key inspirations."

The Spotify ads will show in AMC and Regal theaters, and online. See the other two, "Can't Find the Words," and "Music Takes You Back."
