There's seemingly no end to the ways you can order fast food these days, and now Taco Bell has served up a new one: ordering via artificial intelligence on Slack.
Users of the messaging platform can order select menu items from their local Taco Bell restaurant with TacoBot, an AI bot that Taco Bell says we should treat as a "new friend." You can ask it questions, chat with it and of course, order your food.
The system, which allows both individual and group ordering, is currently in private beta with several companies, including SAV Studios, Thought Catalog, Giphy, Fullscreen and FoodBeast. Wider rollout is anticipated in the coming months, and Slack users interested in the platform integration are encouraged to join the waiting list. It was developed by Deutsch.
