Jesse Tyler Ferguson Goes 'Cray Cray' Playing the Supreme Court Justices

Comedian Goes All Out to Promote 'Supreme Save the Date' Initiative

Earlier this year, "Modern Family" actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Tie the Knot and The Martin Agency teamed up to launch "Supreme Save the Date," an initiative designed to convince the Supreme Court Justices to rule in favor of marriage equality when they make their decision in June. The effort hilariously encourages gay couples hoping to get married to send "Save the Date" cards to all the Supreme Court Justices -- a reminder of all the nuptials that may not get to happen, should the justices not rule in their favor.

So those couples don't forget to send the notices, Tie the Knot and Martin created this funny film imagining a phone call that may happen in the future between some of the justices. The best part is, Mr. Ferguson plays every single one of them.

The scene opens with Mr. Ferguson as Chief Justice Roberts, wondering about the huge stack of Save the Date notices he's received in the mail. He calls over to Justice Samuel Alito, mid-workout getting his "gavel on," who then rings over to the cocktail-sipping Elena "Ragin'" Kagan. Ruth "Notorious RBG" Ginsburg later joins in the middle of wasting a kid playing a videogame -- and even Stephen Breyer pops in for a cameo -- with a new face tattoo. Ginsburg proclaims, in the end, that the piles of invites they've received are "a symbolic demonstration that we are all the same," and concludes that a decision to support same-sex marriage could land them all a lot of free cake.
